Meta-owned platform Instagram has now introduced 90-second reels as the latest feature. Instagram first introduced reels in 2021 to compete with TikTok and this feature became a hit overnight.
Reels initially started out as 60-second videos and now Instagram has extended it by an extra 30 seconds. Instagram is continually introducing new features to reels and the latest introduction is creating a buzz, especially within the influencer community.
Instagram further put out a statement about how now users can upload their own audio to the reels, giving it the personal touch influencers needed to make reels more relatable to their followers specifically.
Amongst the other exciting new features, Instagram will be introducing popular Stories stickers, polls, the quiz feature and Emoji sliders!
We can’t wait to see how influencers will creatively use these features to further their content.
